Spuri SC was founded in May 2002 by some enthusiastic and determined sportsmen, including long-term Hungarian champion triathlete Gábor Kindl, Judit Baranyai, winner of the first half-distance Hungarian triathlon championship, and Árpád Kocsis and István Máth, managers of the Budapest Sports Office. Also from the beginning, there was Gyöngyi Markovich, who helped with the preparation as a coach, several people owe him a gratitude for an Ironman, marathon result.

The main goal was to provide training opportunities for amateur triathletes and those looking to move, regardless of fitness and the amount of energy devoted to sports. This has been the core philosophy of the club ever since. Whether you run the marathon in 3 hours, the Ironman in 10 hours, or fight the one and a half hour dream limit for ten kilometers, here you can definitely get the personal program and the opportunity for development and progress – and of course good company.

Our trainings were performed in the XI. We are located in the district, our home is the Nyéki Imre swimming pool (Kondorosi út), the BEAC track (at Lágymányosi bridge) and Gellérthegy (Szent Margit Gimnázium). Detailed training times and exact locations in our Training menu…
